Emergency Backup Power

Due to the indefinite shelf life of propane, a propane-ready generator is a very good option for emergency backup power to safeguard against things such as storms, hurricanes, blizzards, solar flares, economic and political problems as well as other issues that might cause disruptions in utilities and essential services.

The best solution would however be a multi-fuel generator that can operate on both propane and gasoline, some also run on natural gas. There are many generators that are built like this from the start but conversion kits are also available to convert gasoline generators into dual or tri fuel generators that can run on propane and/or natural gas.
